The Queer Faces Project

I started the Queer Faces Project in 2018, and my goal was to capture photographs of queer people in their hometowns of rural Eastern Kentucky and the vicinity. I believe that often use rural queer folk are forgotten, maybe it's because we are not in the big cities or some other reason. Whatever the reason, rural queer folk visibility is important to me, and always has been. I look forward to all the local prides to come in this area for as long as I am here, and I am happy to always photograph us. While we may seem invisible, we exist, we are thriving, and most of all we are here.
